Oh my gosh I'm so embarrassed by how long this took to make

And yet SO happy with how it came out! 17 has been a half-finished body sitting on my workbench for months now. Saying that, I've owed her a 6 SnuggleBug since her birthday last year, and it has just passed her birthday this year, so ...

Better late than never? I do love how 17 came out though

This is probably one of the more Bug-accurate plushies I've made to date (in the sense that her plush form looks closest to her Bug form). And she is also one of my more unique SnuggleBug, given that since she is part of a pair, I sewed magnets into her hand so that she and 6 can hold hands and be as fluffalicious as possible

The second ~~hippie~~ 6 is almost done, and they should be ready to ship out in a few days!

17 is made mostly from minky and fleece, with metallic spandex details

Her hood & cape is removable, fingers wired and capable of gripping, and she has magnets in her palms for holding the hand of her special somestitch

Aah look at her! She does look a lot like the drawn-bug form. And I love the bit about magnets in the hands. I make my Sampi and Qoppa snugglebugs hold hands, and it's kinda funny because when I sit them next to each other it looks like they're trying to hold hands anyways. I just need to bend their fingers into place is all.

I saw that in the pics! SO adorable! I'm not sure if Sampi was made before I added the fully-manipulated fingers to Bugs, but it already seems to work so well

It feels like he only has one wire in his hands, disregarding the ones in his thumbs, but it's not a problem at all. c:

_{Yeah, he showed up pretty and silver and clean. But I was able to add it on without much of a problem with a Prismacolor. It actually blends rather nicely if you just brush the tip over the very top of the minky and then you rub it in with a fingertip. So it's all good. c:}

_{ACK I knew I'd forgotten something! I must have had a huge mental block about it ><;;;; I'm glad the prismas worked though! They did a better job than one of my fabric pens would have done XD}
